Who We Are

JFS Remodeling is a flooring and painting contractor serving Evanston and the surrounding North Shore. The company is two months old, but the hands behind it carry eight years of trade experience. We started this business to finish work the way it should be done: carefully, squarely, and cleanly.

Our core work sits in two areas. On the floor side, we handle hardwood floor installation, refinishing worn hardwood back to a fresh surface, tile floor installation, and vinyl floor installation for spaces that need a durable, low-maintenance finish. On the wall side, we take on interior painting of walls and ceilings, as well as doors, trim, and baseboards. We also paint cabinets and garages when the job calls for it.

Beyond the standard scope, we build custom shelving and install molding for homeowners who want their space to feel finished rather than furnished. Cabinet installation is part of that same detail-focused work. We treat trim lines and seams as the parts people notice most, because they are. A good floor and a clean coat of paint change how a whole room reads.
